I know, it's been almost a year since my last post. I have been super busy, I have studied hard and gotten a couple of licenses that will benefit my job while still working full time and being a mom and wife. Now, I am SO glad that's over with and finally got my book mojo back (although it took weeks!)
Here's what November brought me reading wise:
1. Forbidden Falls by Robyn Carr *** This book took me forever to finish reading, I did not enjoy a pastor as a hero and felt the story moved a bit slow. I am not motivated to read the next book in the series, can anyone tell me if it's better???
2. Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis ***** JILL SHALVIS you are my HERO! I totally credit Ms. Shalvis with getting my book MOJO back. Funny, sexy with just the right amount of emotion in this new series that brings three sisters together.
3. Slow Heat by Jill Shalvis ***** I was on a roll with Ms. Shalvis and thought I better keep on reading my new hero! I loved this sexy and funny (notice the consistency of her???) story that had a great balance of love and healing!
4. To Desire a Devil by Elizabeth Hoyt **** I had high expectations for this one and while I really enjoyed, it did not hit me like her other books and felt the heroine was not as deep as she could have been.
5. Tempt me Tonight by Toni Blake ***** Deeply emotional, reunited lovers and smoking hot lovely small town read!
6. First Comes Marriage by Mary Balogh *** This was okay. I had a little bit of an issue with the heroine's continuous self esteem issues. It got old after a while and I think I also didn't like the plain jane story line.
